The smoky boldness hits right away, and watching those rolled pellets slowly unfurl into full leaves is oddly satisfying. The flavor holds up for a second steep, which makes the bag last longer than I expected.

Those tight little pellets really do hold their shape until they hit hot water, then they burst open with a smoky depth that lingers nicely. I've been brewing it in my office mug and the bold flavor stands up even after a few minutes of sitting.

Watching those little pellets slowly unfurl into a deep, amber brew is oddly satisfying, and the smoky boldness lingers just right on the tongue. Even the third steep keeps its character, which is rare for a loose leaf this affordable.
